Milena Damyanova

Ms. Milena Damyanova is a member of Bulgarian Parliament and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Education and Science Commission. She is a key promoter of fundamental legal reforms in Bulgarian secondary, professional and higher education, science and innovations. Her professional and political background promises success of the forthcoming academic and science reforms:

2014-  present  Chairperson, Education and Science Commission Bulgarian Parliament

2013 – 2014        Member of Bulgarian Parliament, member of the Parliamentary Education and Science Commission;

2012 – 2016        President of the Administrative Council to the Francophone Institute of Administration and Management in Bulgaria;

2011 – 2013        Official Representative of Bulgaria to the UNESCO International Bureau of Education;

2010 – 2013        Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Science, Bulgarian Government;

2009 – 2010        Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Education, Youth and Science;

2005 – present International Examiner in Hungarian, Centre for Advanced Language Learning, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary;

Ms Damyanova has a master degree in Philology (Hungarian Studies) from Sofia University and completed a post-graduate study program on Financial Management from Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov. She speaks English, French, Hungarian, Russian and Mandarin languages
