Konstantin graduated from 18 Lycee de la Langue Francaise in Sofia. He received his Master’s degree from Sofia University and his second Master of Arts degree - International Media Innovation Management - from Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin.
Born in Sofia 39 years ago, Vulkov has certainly covered some ground in both radio, print and online journalism. He started his own radio show at the age of 15, but started writing about music at the age of 13. He was a regular contributor for several Bulgarian newspapers. He was the Bulgarian correspondent for the BBC Bulgarian Section (Pop Show). Then he started to write for magazines like Egoist, Capital Light, Motor Show, Brava Casa, Capital Light, L'Europeo, as well as Prague-based Transitions Online and Monocle.
Konstantin Vulkov was Program Director of the private national radio station Retro Radio from 2001 to 2006. As of 01 November 2006 he is Program Director of the biggest Bulgarian private radio station and the only one with a national license, Darik Radio. He has several projects within Darik network like "Innovators" (www.innovators-interviews.com) with interviews of famous professionals from around the world, 40 Under 40 (4040.dariknews.bg) for young creative Bulgarians, Bulgaria's Best Doctors (www.bestdoctors.bg), Bulgaria's Most Liveable Cities and many more.
He is now focused on the content marketing development of egoist.bg and the latest trends forecasting project “Mornings at 6.30AM: Brutally Early Club”, which is about to start in few weeks.
