Julieta Serafimova is a member of the Executive Board of Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria. She is the General Manager of Grand Hotel Sofia.
She has graduated from the Institute of international tourism of Burgas and has obtained a degree in tourism from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridksi”. She has specialized general management in Great Britain and strategic hospitality management in some of the most prestigious hospitality schools - EHL in Lausanne, Switzerland and Cornell University in the USA, where she has completed the special program for hotel general managers.
Julieta Serafimova has 25 years of experience in the field of hospitality and tourism. She started working in Grand Hotel Sofia far before its official opening in 2004. She had been Sales Director until 2007, when she became Executive assistant General Manager. In 2009 she was promoted to the position of General Manager and in 2012 she took the lead of Sofia Hotels Management – the management company of Central Park Hotel Sofia and Suite Hotel Sofia. Julieta Serafimova is also responsible for the development of the hotel’s certified professional training center „Academy 5 stars“.
In 2012, Mrs. Serafimova was nominated as Hotel Manager of the year by the Bulgarian hotel and restaurant association. She has been a guest lecturer at New Bulgarian University since 2015.
