- Management of government owned lands.
- Approval of sub-division.
- Building plans.
- Various schemes plan.
- Shortlisting of applicants to government owned land.
- Instructions and liasing with other relevant authorities e.g. municipalities.
- Planning division and survey division.
1981 – 1986 Nairobi Homes Ltd
- In charge of commercial properties like:
- Rehani House
- Reinsurance Plaza (Nairobi & Mombasa).
- All commercial properties then owned by Pan Africa Insurance Co. e.g. Commerce – Nairobi.
- Uniafric House
- Panafric House both in Mombasa & Nairobi.
- During this period I was also in charge of the letting and management of Residential Section.
- Sales – Managed the sales of estates like Plainsview Estate, Golden Gate and Ngummo Estate amongst other individual sales.
1987 Formed Mugi Property Consultants – A consultancy firm which offers valuation
services.
1988 – 1989 Milligan Limited
- Property manager for their property section especially residential. Similar duties as above.
1989 – 2007 Private Practice
- Have been practicing as a Registered Estate Agent operating under Lustman & Co. (90). Under this firm we offer property management services.

EXTRA CURRICULUM
- Member of Soroptimist International.
This is a worldwide organization for women in management and professions working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. Soroptimist activities are carried out under the following programmes:
- Economic and Social Development
- Education
- Environment
- Health
- Human Rights/Status of Women
- International Goodwill and Understanding.
In Kenya we have been involved in education for the girl child and have managed to educate up to O level over 25 students and 15 have been offered post secondary education.
I have served the Club in the capacity of:
1998 – 2001 Chairlady of the Kenyan Chapter
1999 – 2001 Soroptimist Representatives in Africa to the Economic Commission of Africa, (ECA), a United Nations body where I have represented them in various forums around the world.
On the local level, I have participated in community development projects:-
- Harambees – for development of various school projects
- Hospital projects
- For individuals either by way of assisting towards hospital/school bills.
- Women development projects especially in health and helping in realizing some of their economic ambitions.
